MAC April Meeting: The Importance of Teaching Creation to Students

  • West County Assembly of God 13431 North Outer 40 Road Chesterfield, MO, 63017 United States (map)

Understanding Biblical Creation is vital for Christian Students who face an onslaught of evolutionary and atheistic worldviews daily. True science points dramatically to a Divine Creator and recognition of this reality is foundational to the Christian worldview. This presentation will discuss methods of instruction and the need to incorporate both the Scriptures and the scientific evidence that supports them.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:

Scott Jarus has been a MAC speaker since 2009 and started our MAC Zoo Tours in 2012.

He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now MS&T) and is currently employed as a senior concepting and estimating engineer designing material handling systems.

Scott mocked the account of Noah’s flood when his wife said it was true, but then God powerfully used Creation apologetics to open his eyes and his heart to the truth of His Word.
