February Meeting: Origin of Life - Can Natural Processes Generate Life??

  • Rock Church 15101 Manchester Road Ballwin, MO, 63011 United States (map)

The periodic table of inanimate elements like Carbon, Oxygen, Sodium and Potassium, do provide the chemical basis for living systems like Roses, Bacteria and Puppies.

But the transformation from inanimate chemicals to animate life is beyond being "not well understood". Science is clueless about how it happened. For example, the suggested "warm primordial soup" would be destructive to the very compounds needed for life to exist. This presentation will review the ever-growing list of obstacles to an undirected, materialistic explanation for life’s origin.
