The Sun provides life-sustaining energy (heat & light) through nuclear fusion, maintains the solar system's structure with its immense gravity, drives the Earth's climate, weather, and water cycles, and influences our daily rhythm (day/night, seasons) via Earth's orbit and tilt. The Sun is the earth's engine which keeps the earth working correctly.
