Mathematics and Evolution - Oh No!
Presentation by Steve Grimes
How does Darwin’s theory of evolution hold up under the scrutiny of mathematics?
Spoiler alert: It fails dramatically.
Discoveries in the sciences of Genetics and Biochemistry since Darwin provide multiple opportunities for examining the claims of evolution through a mathematical lens. This talk surveys the mountains of improbability in three areas that defy Darwinian explanation.
DNA/Protein Amino Acid Sequences
Population Genetics
Origin of Life
You won’t have to be a math wizard to follow the argument either. If you can follow equations like these, you’ll be able to follow this talk:
10 x 10 = 100
10 x 100 = 1000
No cost, all are welcome
