Let There Be Life (The Origin Of Life)

Presentation by Dr. Joel Brown

During this session, we will see which worldview offers the best explanation for the origin of life. It will start with an exploration of life (biology), with no worldview attached. We will then look at how the Evolutionary worldview describes the origin of life and see just how insufficient (and unscientific) these explanations are. Along the way, we will see incredible evidence showing that the origin of life can only be explained by a Designer.

About our speaker:
Growing up, I experienced two very different worlds.  As a pastor's child, I was exposed to a Biblical understanding of the world and chose to serve and follow Christ from a young age.  However, my love for science took me into secular academia where I spent 10 years rubbing shoulders with a different perspective of the world.  Along the way, I earned a PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Cornell University.  As a Christian, the conflict between these two worldviews continues to fascinate me. I now live in St. Louis, MO, with my wife and 7 children where I teach high school science in the public school and manage an outdoor education facility known as Little Creek Nature Area.  I've spoken 30+ times on the topics of Creation, Evolution, science and the Bible at Christian camps and churches in order to challenge believers to think and thinkers to believe.
